Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and (if you provide it) phone number. Executives may add additional profile information such as work history, skills, certifications, education, and engagement preferences. Clients may add company information such as company name, size, and industry.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate the marketplace: to create and display profiles, match clients with executives, facilitate connection requests and messaging, send notifications about activity on your account, and improve XOHunt over time.
Confidentiality and the alias system
Executive accounts are shown to clients under a generated alias and icon avatar by default. Your real name, photo, and employer history are never shown to a client unless you personally accept that client's connection request. You can choose to make your profile fully public at any time from your privacy settings, and you can regenerate your alias whenever you'd like.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for signing in and keeping you signed in. Optional cookies are only used with your consent, which you can grant, change, or withdraw at any time. We record each consent choice as required by the DPDP Act (India) and the GDPR.
Data retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile from search and delete or anonymize personal information, except where we're required to retain records for legal or security reasons.
Your rights
You can access, update, or delete most of your profile information directly from your account settings. If you'd like help with a request that isn't available there, contact us and we'll assist.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database so that your private information is only ever accessible to you, the people you choose to connect with, and our administrators.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know by posting a notice on this page or by emailing you.
